Jas des Monges

Jas des Monges is an unguarded backcountry shelter at 1,840 m in the Préalpes de Digne. It’s typically open and is built as two small rooms containing a table, a wood stove, and firewood, but there’s no sleeping provision—plan to sleep on the floor with your own sleeping pad/mattress.
