Jasse de Pratmau

Jasse de Pratmau is a free, unstaffed backcountry cabane in the French Pyrenees, used as a simple overnight stop for hikers in the Montségur area. It sits at about 1,552 m and is designed for self-supported stays, with a functional fireplace and wood available nearby.

Inside there are multiple sleeping places (about 10 total), with mattresses provided and a large main table. The large cabane is described with several mattresses and a working chimney/fireplace; wood supply is expected as part of the stay, and guests also bring their own firewood/leave the hut clean for the next group. Access is first-come, first-served (no reservation).
