Jasse du col de Joux
Jasse du col de Joux is a non-guarded stone backcountry hut at 1715 m in the Haute Ariège, French Pyrenees. It sleeps 10 people split across two separate, non-communicating areas, including a dormitory that isn’t heated; the hut has a fireplace and also a chimney.
Inside, the hut is set up for basic overnight use: it has a fireplace and a cold/unenheated sleeping area, with separate spaces that don’t connect. Use is free and there’s no booking or guard—show up on a first-come, first-served basis when you arrive.
The hut is on the GR107, making it a natural waypoint for through-hikers moving along the route.
