La Bicoque

La Bicoque is a Duchesnay wilderness backcountry hut operated by SEPAQ, used as a simple warming shelter for winter travel in the Pavillon Horizon sector. It has a fireplace, but it’s an unserviced hut—bring a sleeping mat (there are no beds).

The hut is free to use and no reservation is required. If you’re planning to stay there via SEPAQ’s hut system, booking is handled by phone (it can’t be reserved online like standard cabins). For winter access, it’s reached about 3 km from the start using snowshoe trails no. 55 and 60.
