La Pie

La Pie is a wilderness backcountry hut in the Camp Mercier sector of the Réserve faunique des Laurentides. It’s used as a daytime warming and rest stop along the ski and snowshoe trails, not as an overnight shelter.

In the winter trail system, La Pie comes up on marked routes that descend toward the refuge; the hut is one of two warming-refuge stops in that zone (the other being La Gélinotte). Expect to use it for short breaks: bring what you need for winter travel, and plan overnight stays elsewhere in the sector.
