La Ruche is a small backcountry ornithology shelter at the Col d’Organbidexka in the French Basque Pyrenees, used as a base for migration study and bird monitoring teams. It is managed by Organbidexka Col Libre (OCL) in partnership with LPO, and it is intended to support staff on site rather than public tourism stays.

The shelter is known as a six-sided structure nicknamed “La Ruche” and was built in 1982 on the col to protect observers during migration work. Use is coordinated through OCL and/or LPO for participating researchers and volunteers during the seasonal fieldwork window (mid–July to mid–November).
