Lariou

Lariou is a rustic backcountry hut operated by SEPAQ in the Pimbina-Saint-Donat sector of Parc national du Mont-Tremblant. It’s reached from the Pimbina Registration Centre via a 5.5 km approach on foot in summer/fall (and as a backcountry ski or snowshoe route in winter).

The hut sleeps up to 4 people. Reservations are handled through the Sépaq Reservation System, selecting Parc national du Mont-Tremblant and the Pimbina-Saint-Donat sector for “Le Lariou” (also referred to as “Le Lariou shelter”).

Pricing is typically around $32.25 per person per night, plus the day-use access fee for Parc national du Mont-Tremblant (amounts can change). Winter departures from the registration centre must generally be made before 12:00 PM, and the winter approach takes about 2.5 hours.
