Le clot des Ordes

Le clot des Ordes is a backcountry pastoral shelter used for working grazing/forest management within the Réserve Naturelle Géologique de Haute-Provence. It’s not set up as a recreational, bookable hut: it has no staffed service, no bookable beds, and no running water, but hikers sometimes use it as a basic emergency shelter or place to rest while passing through nearby trail areas.

After a fire in summer 2022, the shelter was rebuilt by the Commune of Rougon using local larch wood. Expect a simple stop rather than an overnight refuge setup with utilities—carry your own water (and be ready for unstaffed conditions) and plan around the fact that this is primarily for pastoral/park-ranger use.
