Le Fantôme

Le Fantôme is a backcountry hut used for winter trips in the Vallée des Fantômes sector of Parc national des Monts-Valin. It’s accessed by the park’s Fantôme-Express shuttle to reach the trailhead area used for the valley snowshoeing/skiing program.

Overnight stays require advance booking through Sépaq. Because the hut and the valley logistics are highly popular and remote, you also need to book the Fantôme-Express tracked shuttle (“Fantôme-Express”) in advance; baggage transport can be added for heavy gear. The shuttle and baggage are limited-capacity services, and the booking process may require phone contact for certain logistics.
