L'Ulysse

L'Ulysse is a Parc national des Monts-Valin backcountry hut in Quebec, used for multi-day hiking and winter stays. The hut sleeps up to 8 people and is managed through the Sépaq reservation system; booking can be done online, or by phone more than 48 hours in advance. Pricing starts at roughly $16 per person per night, plus applicable park access fees.

Inside, you get base beds with mattresses and a wood stove, with basic dishes and cooking equipment provided. In winter, access is described as a 5.5 km trek with about 420 m of ascent, and sealskins plus either snowshoes or backcountry skis are mandatory.
