Le Hamac

Le Hamac is a backcountry shelter in Gradignan (Parc de Mandavit), run by Bordeaux Métropole. The refuge is sized for up to 6 people (3 double beds) and is designed as an all-wood sleep space in a protected area near the park’s edges.

Use is currently closed and can’t be reserved. It’s a simple refuge: no water, electricity, or heating, and it has no on-site toilet—public toilets and drinking water are about 150 m away. Keys are picked up at Médiathèque Jean Vautrin (32 route de Léognan, 33170 Gradignan) and the designed access is by Corol 36 to “Parc de Mandavit,” then about 200 m from the park entrance to the refuge.
