LQ Outpost

LQ Outpost is a Valkyr Adventures backcountry hut on the north flank of Mt. Lequereux at about 2,200 m. The lodge is heated by wood and runs on solar and micro-hydro, with indoor plumbing (3 bathrooms/2 showers) and AC power for lights and charging stations; a wood-fired sauna is available a few steps away. It was expanded in the fall of 2021 with two wings that doubled living space across two floors, bringing capacity to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms plus additional staff rooms.

Use is by reservation (reservation is required). The operator offers lodge-based ski touring and summer hiking/retreat options as part of Valkyr Traverse packages, with seasonally themed activities built around Mt. Lequereux.
