Mangaiti Hut

Mangaiti Hut is a private backcountry hut in Tongariro National Park, managed by the Tongariro Tramping Club. It’s a small club facility with 6 bunks, intended for members and arranged guests rather than general public DOC hut use.

Use is by prior booking and is restricted to club members; a public booking system is not set up like standard DOC huts. The hut is set up for pack-in, pack-out use: visitors are expected to leave the facility clean, remove rubbish, and handle any used firewood appropriately.
