Moulin d'Utziate

Moulin d'Utziate is an unmanned backcountry shelter in the French Basque country, housed in the former mill at Utziat. It’s set up for pilgrims on the GR65, and GR hikers may use it when there’s room. The shelter is managed as free, open-access accommodation—no booking system, so expect first-arrival use.

Inside, there are 4 stacked metal bunks with mattresses, plus a table and benches. A potable water point is available in front of the shelter. The shelter sits at about 174 m of elevation.
