Neill Forks Hut

Neill Forks Hut is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut in Tararua Forest Park (Wairarapa). It’s a standard six-bunk hut for overnight stays and is used for multi-night hut touring in the region.

Sleeping arrangement is simple: six bunks, with fireplace and toilet facilities available at the hut (including a pit latrine). No booking is required; instead, it runs on a first-come, first-served basis and requires a Standard Hut Ticket for each night in the honesty box (or a Backcountry Hut Pass for unlimited use at most Standard and Serviced huts for a 12-month period). Fees are $10 per night for adults (18+), $5 per night for youth (5–17), and free for children/infants (0–4).
