Smith Creek Shelter

Smith Creek Shelter is a backcountry hut in Tararua Forest Park, reached on foot from the Kaitoke Road end area. It’s a basic shelter used for overnight tramping and is intended for self-supported backcountry stays in the Tauwharenīkau River / Smith Creek area.
