Orri de Prat Carrera

Orri de Prat Carrera is an unmanaged stone hut (cabane non gardée) in the French Pyrenees, in the Angoustrine Valley at about 1660 m. Use is free and it’s not set up for reservations—plan on arriving to a hut that you may need to share with other users.

Access is on the GRP Tour du Carlit / Tour de Cerdagne system: from the valley, reach the hut in the Angoustrine Valley just off the trail, to the right after the bridge when heading uphill. The hut sits on dry ground in a slope; it’s a basic shelter with no latrines, and there’s no wood stove or fireplace provided, so come prepared for your own cooking and heating needs.
