Polaris is a rustic backcountry shelter (camp rustique) in the Observatory Sector of Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, operated by Sépaq. It’s set up for short, self-sufficient nights on a hike-in basis.

The Polaris shelter sleeps up to 4 people and has double beds, a table, benches, and a wood stove. Bedding isn’t provided—bring your own sleeping bag and pillows, plus towels and food; there’s no indoor running water or electricity at the shelter.
