Rapids Yurt

Rapids Yurt is a backcountry wilderness yurt run as a remote, hike-in site from the Eagle River Nature Center area in Anchorage, Alaska. Use is by reservation through the Eagle River Nature Center booking page, and each yurt stay sleeps up to 4 people.

Approach is about 2 miles from the center by ski, snowshoe, or hike-in, depending on season and conditions. Plan to bring your own sleeping bag and water, pack out all trash, and expect sleeping on provided bunk beds/sleeping platforms.
