Refuge d'art de la Ferme Belon

Refuge d'art de la Ferme Belon is one of Andy Goldsworthy’s art refuges in the Digne-les-Bains area, set around Draix. It’s a backcountry use refuge associated with the “River of Earth” art installation, and you access it via a reservation process run through the Musée Gassendi in Digne-les-Bains.

To visit and spend a night in one of the art refuges, you must reserve the access key in advance and pick it up using an identity document. The key deposit/fee is €7.50. The refuge is set at about 950 m, and it has a fireplace; capacity is 8 people. Bring all your own food, water, and sleeping gear.
