Refuge d'Art La Forest

Refuge d'Art La Forest is a small backcountry refuge within the Refuge d'Art land-art walking route designed by Andy Goldsworthy around Digne-les-Bains. It’s intended as a stop for hikers on multi-day stages, forming part of the set of restored rural structures along the overall 150 km parcours (about ten days on foot, linking three stone “Sentinelles”).

Access is set up through a key request: reservation is mandatory, and you pick up the key at the Musée Gassendi in Digne-les-Bains by depositing an identity document. The refuge is stone-built, has no fireplace, and accommodates up to 15 people.
