Refuge d'Asinau

Refuge d'Asinau is a backcountry refuge on the GR20 in Corsica, used as a GR20 overnight stop. The refuge sits at 1,536 m and is equipped with showers, toilets, and a current water point, plus an outdoor cooking area.

Overnight use is handled through the PNRC GR20 booking system; reservations are required for nights in refuges and for bivouacs/bât-flancs. Wild camping is strictly prohibited along the trail. Meals (hot dinner, breakfast, and picnic baskets) are ordered on-site with the warden, and the service runs in the evening; plan to arrive by the refuge arrival cutoff to be able to reserve your evening meal. The hut was reconstructed (update dated 27-08-2018).
