Refuge de Bécet
Refuge de Bécet is a very small, free backcountry hut in the Massif du Madres area near Puyvalador, designed for short stays on foot along the Capcir routes. It’s a non-staffed refuge (unmanaged), so expect to share the space with other parties when it’s busy.
It sleeps 2–3 people and has a heating stove/poêle plus a simple interior setup (table and sleeping platform/banquette). The hut is renovated and equipped with a wood-burning stove and a small enclosed entry area; it does not include a fireplace, and there’s no running water at the refuge—water is available in a nearby stream about 10 minutes away on the trail toward Oller.
