Refuge de La Chapelle de l'Isard

Refuge de La Chapelle de l'Isard is a free-access, unmanaged backcountry shelter reached from the Chapelle de l'Isard. It sleeps 6 and is set up for simple refuge-style overnight stays at about 1,325–1,330 m. Use is first-come, first-served (no bookings).

Inside, there’s a table with benches, a large fireplace, and six bunk beds (2×3) with foam mattresses. Electricity is available via a 10-minute timer, and there are three blankets. A water source sits at the front of the refuge, but it is labeled as non-potable.
