Refuge de la Combe des filles
Refuge de la Combe des filles is a backcountry refuge in the Vanoise area. It sits at about 2,256 m in the Vallon de la Combe des filles and is used as a base for Vanoise objectives, including acclimatization for higher climbs in the Parc National de la Vanoise.
The refuge accommodates about 30 people in dormitories. Half-board and full-board meals are available, and the kitchen can handle vegetarian and gluten-free diets if arranged in advance. Water is taken from a spring near the hut; there is no shower or en-suite facilities, so pack accordingly and plan around dormitory sleeping.
Seasonal use is from June to September. Overnight stays require advance booking with FFCAM, and winter access is not considered reliable without solid mountaineering skills.
