Refuge de la crique St-Loup

Refuge de la crique St-Loup is a backcountry wilderness hut operated by Plein Air Saint-Donat near the Lac Saint-Loup sector in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci. It’s a small booking-based hut designed for overnight trips on the area’s trail network, with a maximum capacity of 7 people (2 platform beds downstairs and 5 mattresses in the mezzanine).

Inside, you’ll find a slow-combustion wood stove, a table and chairs, plus a hatchet and broom. A dry toilet is located nearby. There’s no running water and no electricity, and the firewood supply is intended strictly for indoor stove use (carry what you need for cooking and personal supplies).

The hut is available for reservation exclusivity (the full hut), with check-in starting at 4:00 PM and checkout at 10:00 AM the next morning. An online trail access registration/ticket is required for entry to the trails on your reservation dates. The hut page includes the high-season pricing and the split by day: $140 per night (Sunday to Thursday) and $175 per night (Friday & Saturday, September–October), plus per-person/night options when not reserving the hut exclusively.
