Refuge de la Jaceta

Refuge de la Jaceta is a free, unmanaged mountain hut (cabane non gardée) at 1,645 m in the Capcir, in the Galbe valley area. Expect first-come, first-served use—no advance bed booking—so arrive ready to share the small sleeping area if it’s full.

The hut has a dining room with two tables, benches, and a wood stove, plus a separate sleeping area. Sleeping is on wooden platforms for 10 people (including 7 places with mattresses). There’s no fireplace provided. An outdoor picnic/BBQ area is set up outside, and water is available from the nearby stream; bring what you need for cooking and personal use, and be self-sufficient once you’re there.
