Refuge de la Jasse des Cortalets

Refuge de la Jasse des Cortalets (also known as Jasse des Petits Cortalets) is a small, non-guarded backcountry cabin in the Massif du Canigou area. It’s set up for sleeping on simple interior bunks with about 4 sleeping places, and the cabin has a fireplace and a table inside.

For cooking/heat and basic living, there’s a fire area outside and a water source nearby that’s described as seasonal. Use of the cabin is simple: it doesn’t take reservations and is used on a first-come, first-served basis.
