Refuge de La Martin
Refuge de La Martin is a backcountry mountain hut in the Vanoise National Park area near Villaroger (Vanoise massif). It sleeps 23, and it’s run as a guarded hut from 19 June to 6 September 2026; outside that window, it can be open but unstaffed, with online reservation required during the guarded period.
Services at the refuge vary by staffing period. During the guarded season, it offers a bar, hot showers, potable water, and meal service (with set midday and afternoon windows), plus a small library-style feature for downtime. The refuge is also set up for people staying overnight, including half-board, night stays, and bivouacs booked in advance; when it’s unguarded, you’re expected to make a financial participation during your stay to support heating and building upkeep.
