Refuge de Mariailles

Refuge de Mariailles is a backcountry alpine hut in the Canigó massif (Pyrénées-Orientales). It has 53 dormitory places and requires reservations in all seasons.

Access is via road to the Col de Jou, followed by about 2 hours on foot to reach the refuge. For the 2026 season, it opens every day from Saturday 23 May to Saturday 3 October inclusive. During the 2026 GR10 approach, if you can’t book the section at the Cortalets, an alternate GR10 route is recommended that goes by Sant Guillem and then Batères before reaching the hut.
