Refuge de Matalza

Refuge de Matalza is a backcountry mountain hut on the GR20 in Corsica, set on the Plateau du Cuscionu. It’s used as an overnight stop for GR20 hikers, with bunks/dorm options and other sleeping arrangements, and it serves as a base for day hikes from the plateau. The hut sits at about 1,415 m altitude and is step n°13 on the GR20 (Nord→Sud: Calenzana → Refuge de Matalza → Conca).
