Refuge de Presset

Refuge de Presset is a mountain backcountry hut in the Beaufortain (Savoie) operated by Club Alpin Français. It sits at 2,514 m and provides 30 sleeping places in summer, with five dormitories.

The hut is guarded in winter from 10 January to 31 March 2026 (subject to conditions). In summer, the guarded season runs June to September. When the hut is not guarded, it has 18 sleeping places and online booking is required for those out-of-guard options from autumn onward; a wood supply is left for heating when the refuge isn’t staffed.
