Refuge des Besines

Refuge des Besines is a guarded backcountry refuge operated by the Club Alpin Français at 2,104 m in Mérens-les-Vals (Ariège), near the GR 10. The hut has 56 sleeping places in total, with an additional winter room capacity for 16 people.

Seasonal use runs from 1 June to the end of October, with winter accommodation for 16. Reservations are handled via the refuge’s booking area on the operator’s site during the guarded period. The refuge also has shower facilities.
