Refuge des Camporells

Refuge des Camporells is a small backcountry alpine hut near the Estany del Mig, at 2,240 m, with accommodation for 19 people. The hut is open seasonally and is used as a base for the Tour des Pérics hiking circuit in the Capcir–Pérics area.

Dorm-style sleeping is in a single large room with bunk beds and blankets. Facilities are basic: dry toilets and no showers are provided, and there’s a communal space for meals. Reservations are required; it’s not a road-accessible refuge and the approach is a hike (roughly 1.5 to 4 hours depending on where you start).

During the summer period, the refuge is staffed from late May to late September, and overnight stays are by reservation. Half-board (demi-pension) pricing is 41€ per person (adult) in 1/2 pension, with reduced rates for children and teens; meals/board options are handled through the hut when you book. Payment methods listed include card and cheques, and it’s also possible to book directly with the wardens by phone/text or email.
