Refuge des Érables

Refuge des Érables is a backcountry hut in the Parc régional des Appalaches, set in a dense maple grove near Rivière Noire Nord-Ouest. It’s a 4-season, rustic hut that’s managed by the regional park.

The hut accommodates up to 6 people. Use is by reservation, with a key provided at arrival; check-in is at 15 h and you must be out by 10 h. In the winter season, the huts aren’t heated before arrival, and you can request heating service for a fee ($25) for refuges close to the parking areas.
