Refuge Desjardin

Alpine hutRefuge Desjardin is a basic backcountry hut shelter in the Parc régional Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts area, used for warming, resting, and taking a break during the day. It sits at the intersection of the Grignon and Goyer trails, where cross-country ski and snowshoe users stop before continuing deeper into the trail network.
After a 2022 fire, the park rebuilt the refuge; the newer building is larger, better insulated, and oriented with more glazing toward the south to bring in light. It is presented as a key stop within a network that includes about 60 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and about 30 km of snowshoe trails.
