Refuge du Callau

Refuge du Callau is a backcountry hut in the French Pyrenees (near Mosset), positioned just above the Col de Jau. It’s a gîte d’étape with sleeping for 30 people, used as a stop on through-routes in the area.

Use is not set up as a typical centralized online booking. For overnight stays, you should call ahead using the local mairie contact listed on the hut’s information pages. Local listings also indicate the refuge may be closed to the general public or limited to on-request/pastoral use, so confirm before you plan an overnight.
