Refuge du Christ

Refuge du Christ is a mountain refuge above Les Allues, in the La Traie area. It offers 13 beds split across two dormitories (4 and 5 people) plus two two-bedded rooms, and it serves traditional Savoyard cuisine including a wine list. The refuge can be reserved for overnight stays and also has options for lunch or dinner use.

Approach is on foot or by snowshoes, with typical routes starting from Le Villard (about 1–1.5 hours) or from Les Ravines car park (about 2–2.5 hours); winter access is also possible off-piste via Roc de Fer through La Lune pass. Booking is recommended, and reservations for stays are handled by phone with the refuge management.
