Refuge du Col de L'Arpettaz
Refuge du Col de L’Arpettaz is a mountain refuge/restaurant in the Ugine area at 1,581 m, set at the col among the high pastures. The same site serves meals and offers overnight stays in a 1,581 m mountain setting on both summer and winter schedules.
For summer 2026, it is open daily from 30 May to 27 September; in winter 2026/27 it runs from 19 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, with service every day during school holidays and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday outside holidays. For arrival timing and logistics, summer is done on foot or by car about 30 minutes from Ugine, while the closest parking point in winter is at La Lierre (about 4.5 km from the refuge). The refuge has a restaurant dining room seating 120 people plus 70 seats on the terrace in summer, and it has 60 beds in 7 bedrooms (from 4 to 12 places per room).
On-site facilities include indoor restaurant seating, outdoor seating, and toilets including wheelchair access.
