Refuge du Col du Palet

Refuge du Col du Palet is a backcountry hut operated by SARL les-juloli near Ayze (Route de l'Épargny, 74130). Use includes both the refuge stay and bivouac—bivouac is allowed with reservation.

For sleeping, the hut offers 47 couch places in a dormitory setup. The hut provides a wood stove and has a radio/emergency beacon; sleeping gear includes couettes and oreillers, with you expected to bring a drap-sac. The refuge is scheduled to be open for the summer season from 13 June to 12 September 2026, with services varying by period (guarded vs. self-managed).
