Refuge du Mont Pourri
Refuge du Mont Pourri is an alpine backcountry hut operated by Club Alpin Français at 2370 m on the Vanoise side of the Mont Pourri massif. It serves hikers, skiers, and alpinists making their way through the Mont Pourri area.
The refuge has 39 sleeping places during the gardiennage season and 39 places outside gardiennage (3 dormitories). Capacity for school use is 28 places.
Guardian coverage runs from 6 June to 10 September 2026, and reservations are required. The guardian can be contacted by phone at +33 4 79 07 90 43 during the summer period.
Nearby objectives include the summit climbs from the refuge—most notably Mont Pourri (3779 m). The refuge is also used as a multi-day base for circuits such as the tour du mont Pourri and for reaching areas like the Grand Col and the glacier access via Refuge Regaud.
