Refuge du Nordet is a backcountry hut in the Inter-Centre network in Quebec, built for short stays and overnighting during multi-day hikes in the Val-des-Lacs area. It has a basic hut setup with beds/mattresses and a wood-burning stove, and use is designed around a small group capacity.

It’s set up for eight people on stacked platforms with eight mattresses. Sleeping gear, food, and water (or a filter) are required, and there is no electricity or running water inside the refuge. A natural water source is available about 100 m from the hut, and there are toilets nearby.

Reservations are required for overnight stays and the booking is handled through the Inter-Centre reservation system. Day use is free for passing hikers between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, while overnight begins at 3:00 PM with checkout at 10:00 AM. Costs are $25 per person per night for a shared booking, or $125 per refuge per night for exclusive use.

Rules are strict: dogs aren’t permitted inside the hut, and outdoor campfires are prohibited.
