Refuge du Pinet

Refuge du Pinet is a Club Alpin Français backcountry hut in the Massif du Montcalm area, on the Etang du Pinet at about 2,240 m. It has 54 sleeping places in the guarded period (4 dormitories).

The hut is guarded in winter-spring “mars et avril” by reservation (season and conditions can vary) and in summer from 5 June to 11 October 2026. Outside the guarded period, it has a smaller capacity of 18 people. Drinking water is available on site, and the refuge is staffed with named caretakers during the operating period.
