Refuge Entre-le-Lac

Refuge Entre-le-Lac is a backcountry refuge in the Vanoise, set on the left bank of the Ponthurin by Lac de la Plagne and near the GR5. The refuge is in an old mountain shepherd’s building converted in 1980 and sits at 2,145 m, used in summer for stays and meals.

It’s open for the 2026 season from 13/06 to 12/09, with no winter accommodation. Reservations are used for stays; dogs are allowed from Rosuel up to the refuge if kept on leash and you stay on the left bank of the Ponthurin. There’s no phone or internet at the refuge, and credit-card payments aren’t possible (plan on other payment options).
