Refuge Forestier du Laurenti

Refuge Forestier du Laurenti is a free-access backcountry refuge (cabane non gardée) near the Étang du Laurenti area in the Donezan (Le Pla). It’s set up for independent overnight stays: two spacious levels in good condition, a large fireplace, and basic interior furniture including a table and benches/bancs, plus sleeping on mattresses (8 places total; 4 on foam mattresses).

There’s no stove provided, and the refuge is unserviced, so come self-sufficient with what you need for cooking and water. Use is first-come, first-served (no reservation process and no fees are required). Bivouac is allowed near the refuge, and dogs must be kept on a leash.
