Refuge forestier du Mas Malet

Refuge forestier du Mas Malet is an unstaffed forest refuge near Estoher (Pyrenees-Orientales), managed by the Office National des Forêts. It has a fireplace and sleeping space for about 4 people, plus room to pitch a tent if you need extra capacity.

The refuge has a place for fires outside and an indoor open chimney, along with a picnic table. There’s water available nearby (but it should be treated before drinking).

Access is by car: the approach is reachable by vehicle, with parking at the start of the hike/approach to the refuge.
