Refuge Jeandel
Refuge Jeandel is a backcountry alpine hut in the French Pyrenees, set high on a rocky outcrop above La Pierre-Saint-Martin. It was built by René Jeandel in 1963 and sits around 1,670 m elevation; the hut is used as winter accommodation for groups and as a summer stop on long-distance hiking routes.
The hut sleeps 19 people. In winter 2024/2025 it can be rented by groups in self-management, with a full disinfection between group stays. It’s positioned near ski activities at La Pierre-Saint-Martin in winter, and in summer it sits on routes including GR10 and is also an HRP stage, with the Spanish border about 2 km away.
