Refuge La Chouette

Refuge La Chouette is a backcountry wilderness hut operated by Club de Plein-Air de St-Donat. The hut sleeps up to 10 people and sits at 620 m elevation. Use requires an active reservation, and there is a fee (reservation-based rental).

Inside, you’ll find a slow-burning wood stove and sleeping platforms with 8 mattresses, plus a table and chairs. Dry toilets are outside the hut; there is no running water and no electricity. The hut’s rental check-in/out times run from 4:00 pm to 10:00 am, and you must pack out all waste.
