Refuge La Cordée

Refuge La Cordée is a backcountry warming and rest station maintained by the Club plein air sainte-Agathe-des-Monts along their nordic skiing and snowshoe networks near Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. It functions as a short-stay checkpoint for people out on the trails.

The hut sits in the club trail system around the Bergerie du Mouton Noir sector; the refuge l’Alpage is another named hub on the same networks. Ski and snowshoe users are expected to stay on the routes designated for their activity and to respect private land along the network.

For day use, the club emphasizes trail-ethics on its private-land network: avoid using the wrong set of tracks (for example, using ski routes in a way they’re not intended for), don’t bring dogs on the network, and follow the marked guidance around crossovers/descents in the sector.
