Refuge l'Abattis
Refuge l'Abattis is a backcountry hut (wilderness hut) on the Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix network near Saint-Tite-des-Caps / Charlevoix. It’s a 6-person shelter used for overnight stays by hikers traveling the trail network.
The hut includes a wood stove and firewood, plus a large cooking pot, a picnic table, and dry toilets nearby. Capacity is up to 6 people. A reservation is required through the Sentier des Caps online reservation system; the nightly rate shown is $36.96 and reservations follow the Sentier des Caps policy (including a non-refundable 50% credit-card deposit, and 100% charged if cancelling 3 days or less before the start).
For sleeping, bring a sleeping mat and sleeping bag, and plan to carry your own trail map, stove/fuel, and food for your stay. Outdoor fires at the refuge/campsite are strictly prohibited, and dogs are not permitted on long hikes, in shelters, or at campsites on the Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix trail network.
